One rumor about the "Bimmies" was Mendy took the red truck to Philly and whoever jumped on got a job at camp. I am sure others out there have their own Bimmy origination memories. There was one female Bimmy. Jerry the cook, great guy by the way, brought his wife along during the summer of 71, I was a waiter in 71, and Jerry's wife did the camp laundry. During the summer of 69 there were college student Bimmies. When Woodstock began they mostly quit and were not heard from again.
