1- in 1963, I think color war broke out with a motocyle "gang" I think this was the year of the picture "the wild ones" with Marlon Brando in a picture about a motocycle gang taking over a town. So during line up for the evening meal, a gang of motocylists came roaring up the road and that broke color war. Afterwards, I saw Jerry Turner giving the head of the group a wad of money
2- A plane flying over the camp and flyers announcing color war came out of the plane. Ouar boys head counselor Marv Fleischman was in the plane throwing out the flyers and directing the piolet. This was around 1963-64
3. Fire engines roaring into the camp breaking color war.
4- A counselor either at line up or afterwards pretending to be hurt and an ambulance was called to taake him away. This broke color war. Again around '63-'64 or '65

I used to love when color war broke out. I remember a fire engine and a plane dropping flyers. I know there was some others, but my old memory is getting foggy after so many years. I think my last year in camp was 1963 or so. I'm Rabbi Herman's granddaughter and was in camp from the time I was a little girl until I was about 13 when my parents sent me to another camp, believe it or not.
